Ireland’s first Style Network, a new and dynamic business networking event for those in the Style and Beauty Industry in Ireland, will take place in Palmerstown House, Johnstown, Co. Kildare on Friday, October 23rd.
Style Network will bridge the gap that many of professionals in the style and beauty industry have experienced and will provide what they have been looking for, a simple and professional forum for style industry professionals to be able to meet, chat and network with like-minded professionals. Creating more opportunities to expand, strengthen and create a new energy in the exciting world of fashion and beauty, Style Network invites everyone from stylists to make-up artists; boutique owners to milliners; fashion websites to hair salons; fashion journalists to image consultants to come along and be part of it.
Style Network was set up by two fashion industry professionals to provide what they themselves were looking for, a simple and effective way to network and create business.
Clara Halpin is Head of Personal Shopping in one of Ireland’s longest standing department stores, Arnotts. Clara has dressed everyone from Ireland’s wannabe celebrities to the real deal. With over 20 years experience in the fashion and beauty industry, Clara is passionate about what she does, her positivity is infectious and she truly believes in the power of networking.
Julie Cobbe is founder of Style Fish, Ireland’s first dedicated fashion school for women. Julie worked in fashion and weddings in London, and was involved in organizing Ireland’s first ever designer Wedding Dress Sample Sale, ‘Billion Dollar Brides’. Julie says “Working in the industry quite simply I had not found the networking event I was looking for and I know so many businesses who felt the same. Now more than ever people want to network, create new contacts and discover synergies that are out there but we needed something like Style Network to bring these ideas and people together!”
The first official Style Network event will run from 10am to 1pm, and participants can try their hand at speed networking, be inspired by the guest speaker, and generally network with like-minded people from the style and beauty industry.
A nominal fee will apply for participation, and you are asked to email julie@stylefish.ie to receive your Invitation to register More information will be available at www.stylenetwork.ie, which will go live next week.
