Fleetwood, a leading Irish provider of high-quality paint and paint accessories, has announced its official paint partnership with The Curragh Racecourse for the 2024 season. The partnership, which will see a 3-part Fleetwood race series, promises to enhance the racecourse, including the magnificent new state-of-the-art grandstand which was completed in 2019, as the renowned Kildare racing venue prepares for a busy year of fixtures.
The Fleetwood race series takes place over three high-quality weekends commencing on day three of the prestigious Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival on Sunday, 26th May, followed by two subsequent races on day two of the Juddmonte Irish Oaks Weekend on Sunday, 21st July, and Sunday 29th September which is the second day of the Curragh Autumn Racing Festival.
Derek Byrne, Marketing Manager at Fleetwood, said: “We are delighted to officially partner with The Curragh Racecourse as the 2024 season gets underway. With over 70 years of Irish heritage, community engagement is deeply ingrained in Fleetwood’s values. While we’ve been supporting the Curragh for some time, formalising our sponsorship represents a significant milestone and we eagerly anticipate the Fleetwood Race Series over the coming months.”
Echoing this sentiment, Evan Arkwright, Racing and Sponsorship Manager, at the Curragh Racecourse, added: “The Curragh has enjoyed a long-standing association with Fleetwood Paints and we are very pleased to be able to formalise our relationship with such a strong Irish brand by agreeing to an official partnership which will allow us to showcase their paints across the whole venue.”
