CRY – Ireland
CRY Ireland (Cardiac Risk in the Young) is a self-supporting charity founded in 2002 to provide support for Irish families, north and south, bereaved by the sudden cardiac death of a young person. They offer free screening and emotional support services in an empathetic environment and support research into the prevention of sudden cardiac death. All services provided by CRY Ireland are free.
OUR ROLE
Fuzion Communications have been working with CRY Ireland since 2013 and continue to do so on an ongoing basis for PR activities.
The main aim is to raise awareness for CRY Ireland and the services they offer to families affected by SCD (Sudden Cardiac Death). Throughout our time working with CRY Ireland we have achieved considerable press coverage including TV coverage ( RTE One News, The Late Late Show, Ireland Am, RTE Today Show, AM, Six o’clock show and many more), Radio Coverage ( RTE 2 FM, Newstalk, Today FM and numerous regional radio stations) and extensive Print Coverage both on a national and regional basis (The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, Sunday Business Post, Irish Independent, The Irish Examiner, The Sun, The Irish Mirror, Evening Herald, Image Magazine,Women’s Way, VIP Magazine, RSVP Magazine, RTE Guide etc).
In addition to profiling the case studies and medical professionals involved with CRY Ireland, Fuzion supports CRY on a number of campaigns and events throughout the year in order to help raise awareness and revenue for the organisation. Activities include the Mini Marathon, the Annual Camino Trek and the hugely popular Pure Style Fashion event hosted by Brendan Courtney each year.
Through our work with CRY Ireland, Fuzion has raised the profile of the organisation and it’s services as well as supporting CRY in activities to raise vital funds. Our continued work with CRY Ireland demonstrates Fuzion’s dedication and experience in the non-profit sector.
Since 2019 alone, Fuzion has secured over €6 million worth of PR for CRY Ireland.
